About me

I am a full-time ceramicist. I create my work in my home studio and sell through fairs and artisan markets, a couple of galleries and directly online through my Etsy shop. From school, my love of using clay grew, and I have a diploma in Art and Design and a degree in ceramics from the University of Wales in Cardiff. I have been practising for the last 27 years, working for another Potter alongside doing my own work initially and for over the last 14 years working entirely for myself.

I make a wide range of pieces from decorative, stylised dogs, cats and birds to decorative yet functional vessels, bowls, jugs and vases. The thread that unifies my wide range of work is that of colour, pattern, texture and a sense of fun. I like my work to be lighthearted and accessible. I work with stoneware, and all my work is handbuilt, utilising slab work, coiling, modelling and pinching. I take many influences and inspirations, from Art, textiles and nature.

I sell my work in galleries, online and at various festivals, fairs and markets. I have sent work all over the world.
